The LibGuide is not meant to address all library concerns or needs for serving homeless patrons. It provides some basic information to assist library staff, including:
1) a bibliography so library staff can re-imagine their work with the homeless in the context of libraries nationally;
2) referral resources for assisting Rhode Island homeless individuals and families with finding services;
3) information about a guide that specifically assists librarians’ in their interpersonal encounters with the homeless; and
4) some national resources for information about homelessness and national networks for referral.
