LORI Resource Sharing Certification

Important dates

Academic, public and special library directors will receive the LibPAS login credentials on July 15, 2025. (Public library directors will use the same credentials to complete the Public Library Annual Survey). 

On July 15 school libraries will receive the link to the school year delivery survey to indicate any delivery days the library will be closed. RILINK emails will be used for those member schools. Once the school year delivery survey is submitted, the school librarian will receive the login credentials to LibPAS to complete the certification.

• Login to LibPAS.
• Work through the survey. Data is automatically saved as it is entered. 
• Be sure to choose the correct library type from the drop-down menu in the Library Identification section. This impacts ILL data entry later in the survey. 
• If not certain about specific questions in the survey, it is okay to exit the survey and complete it at another time before it closes on September 15 (September 30 for school libraries).
• "Submit" only when the entire survey is complete. The survey cannot be submitted if required questions are not answered. Errors or omissions will be indicated when submission is attempted.
• Submit a Request for Waiver for each LORI Standard and Regulation the library does not meet as soon as possible.  
• OLIS will review survey submissions for accuracy and completeness. Clarifications and corrections will be requested as needed.
• Once the data is reviewed the library director will receive a DocuSign email invitation to digitally sign the Resource Certification Form.
• Certified schools are added back onto the delivery schedule each fall in batches approximately every 2 weeks beginning September 15.
