This workshop will go over best practices for nonprofit email newsletters and marketing emails, including tips on design and content. We'll explore how to use your email newsletter to further your library's vision and strategic goals. You'll learn about free tools you can use right away to maximize your efficiency and effectiveness, including ways to measure your success (and course correct if things aren't going as planned).
About the Presenter: Cara Massey has been working in nonprofit development, communications and operations for ten years with local, regional, and international organizations. She currently serves as the Director of Development for a Catholic high school and works as a consultant for small nonprofit organizations in the areas of marketing, communications, fundraising, strategic planning, and community needs assessments. As a consultant, Cara has worked for such organizations as Rogers Free Library, Benjamin Church Senior Center, The Anthony Quinn Foundation, Better Community Living, The Martin Luther King Jr. Center, The East Bay Food Pantry, and the Community String Project.
